Finally got started on Shimelle's christmas journal this is the altered album I used basic grey romany papers for the front with gold ribbons.

I have not posted or started my Christmas journal yet as 1st Dec started off badly for us as we got news that my father in law got his leg amputated due an infection which upset the kids, the tree didn't go up until yesterday.

This is the before picture of my Christmas journal, I am going to alter it.

I need to get started on my Christmas journal but I am still waiting for the papers to arrive from one of the UKS sponsors, I ordered them last week and they are still not here yet. I am loving everyones entried in wrttendown.

Its December the 1st and the first day of Shimelle's class! I am so looking forward to getting stuck into my Christmas journal.

First I have to get the christmas tree up this afternoon the kids are excited about it! It kick starts with Cliff Richard "We should be together" playing as soon as they come in from school... I am more excited this year somehow thinking of photos to snap and pages to do for my Christmas Journal.

I also have reached a stumbling block I am not sure how to cover my post bound album for this journal, I will have a wee play this morning see if it is possible to cover it before going back to the drawing board.

Starting December first, I will keep a Christmas journal. In it, I will write something every day to reflect on the holidays of my past, enjoy the holidays of the present and dream about the holidays of my future. To some, this will be a stack of papers and trivial scribbles, but not to me. I am taking back my Christmas, I am letting it be something I relish and, most importantly, I am giving at least fifteen minutes every day to myself no matter how crazy this season becomes. I have signed up for Shimelle Christmas journal classes which starts tomorrow, I am really looking forward to creating an album of Christmas.

Today's UKS blog prompt is about our name, the meaning, Does it fit? Did you want to change it when you were growing up? Do you like it now? If not, what name would you like to have? What is your nickname?

My name is Sharon which means "Princess" which was so not me! I was a tomboy and wished my name was my middle name "Roberta" to get the shortened version Bobby! I was jealous of girls in school who were called Alexandra and Charlotte as they got called Charlie and Alex!

I went to Primark yesterday and spotted this belt for £1.50! it didn't take me long to remove all 87 of those gorgeous brad like stones!

Hi, I am really new to this, and here it goes, Its Friday night and the final of Big brother is on which I have not been following the Big Brother but my 3 daughters have and its the final tonight so each of them have invited friends to watch the grand finale... I am surprised to say with about 12 kids in my living room its all quiet here!
